Released in January by rapper/producer and Kreemo affiliate Papa Jae, The Herbivore is an enticing and entrancing journey through the lifestyle of the young man. The beats and his flow on them is almost whimsical at times. The Herbivore is reminiscent of Kanye’s 808s and Hartbreaks in that the production is different from almost anything I’ve ever heard before. This is no typical EP. Produced, engineered and mixed by Papa Jae himself, the music, lyrics and beats to create an album that I feel could rival many of the critically -acclaimed albums out today. Check it out below.
